Website privacy notice
This notice applies only to the data you send us through this website. If you become a patient of the clinic, the handling of your health data is governed by a separate notice and consent, which you will receive before your care begins.
This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the reference text.

Data we collect on this site
Only what you enter in the appointment request form: your name, phone number, email address (optional) and your preferred day and time. We do not ask for clinical information and ask that you do not include any.
To protect the form from automated submissions we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes technical data from your browser and connection, such as your IP address, to check that the sender is a person.
What we use it for
Only to contact you and arrange your appointment. We do not sell it, do not share it with third parties for their own purposes, and do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it and where
The site does not store your request in a database. When you send it, it is transmitted by email to the clinic's mailbox. The following providers process the data on the clinic's behalf and may do so outside Costa Rica, including in the United States of America:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting of the site, Turnstile verification, and sending and forwarding of the emails addressed to the clinic.
- Google LLC: the email account (Gmail) where the clinic receives requests and the messages sent to info@fonsecadentalclinic.com.
Apart from Turnstile, the site does not load third-party resources such as external fonts, analytics or trackers.
How long we keep it
Requests that do not lead to an appointment are deleted no later than 90 days after the last related contact. If you become a patient, your data becomes part of your record and is governed by the patient notice.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its use, by writing to info@fonsecadentalclinic.com, on WhatsApp, or by calling +506 6398 4736. The process is free of charge and we will reply within five business days. If you believe your rights were not respected, you may go to the Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (PRODHAB).
